Donations are not limited to credit cards or checks…non-cash gifts are also welcome and have desirable tax implications.
Your non-cash gifts could look like…
- Appreciated Securities: stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc.
- Business Interests: ownership in a closely held business
- Real Estate: commercial, residential, or undeveloped property
- Retirement Plans: charitable IRA rollover, required minimum distribution
- Other Creative Gifts: loan notes, estate gifts, vehicles, collectibles
