How to Add Outreach into an Already-Full Fall Schedule

Fall schedules are kicking in, and it’s likely your schedule is already packed full.

Our God is relational. He pursues relationships with lost people, drawing their hearts to Himself by His great love and mercy. We are to follow His lead, pursuing relationships with lost people and loving them as Jesus loves us. The network of people and activities you are scheduled for this fall in isn’t by chance: God has placed you there on purpose.

Wherever we live and whatever circles we move in, the Apostle Paul says God has determined the “allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek [Him], and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for ‘In him we live and move and have our being’ ” (Acts 17:26–28, ESV).

This fall, you can help the people in your circle who are seeking and feeling their way toward God. You can pray for them and invest in friendships. And you can be ready to share the reason for the hope you have in Christ.
