God is Moving in Kenya!
What if you could impact an entire nation for generations?
Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. Especially in a country like Kenya, where 70% of the population is under 30 years old. Youthful energy and unbridled passion, when used for good, produce an incredible future.
Yet the potential of the Kenyan youth is plagued by massive problems, like…
- Radicalization (violent extremism)
- Terrorism recruitment
- Poverty
- Unemployment
Their greatest need, though, is the same as every other person on the planet: a relationship with Jesus. They need to know the good news that Jesus died for their sins, and He rose again so that they may have true life.
Because if we lose this generation, we may lose the country.
How do we bring the good news of Jesus to nearly 20 million young people in Kenya? And how can you partner in such an ambitious mission?
God began opening doors in 2018.
Through an unlikely partnership, the Kenyan government came alongside Spread Truth to organize a series of sports camps and tournaments, which resulted in thousands of young people hearing the gospel.
Fast forward six months. God continues opening doors, making it necessary for Spread Truth to make a daring move: hire three full-time staff in Kenya.
A First Time Partnership.
Spread Truth has become an official partner (the first of its kind) with the Kenyan government, which allows us to share Christ in otherwise restricted areas. We have already been invited to teach within the National Youth Service (NYS), a military training academy of over 60,000 students.
We continue to have the same mission: equip believers worldwide with the tools and the training they need to share the gospel confidently. All of our efforts are focused on seeing people come to Jesus by hearing the good news.
Work like this doesn’t happen in a vacuum; it takes the generosity and partnership of people like you. By giving to Spread Truth, you can influence and impact an entire generation with the gospel.
Here’s the amazing thing: we can run the Kenyan office for just $220,000 per year. That includes all employment costs, administrative oversight, and a healthy budget for extensive ministry work that already includes:
- Food distribution through our partnership with the Midwest Food Bank East Africa Division
- Mentoring within the NYS – national military academy of 60,000 students
- Pastor training and encouragement for local church leaders and pastors
- Sharing the gospel in public school
- Annual city-wide sports tournaments and evangelism events
We’ve already seen a generous donor commit to $35,000 per year for the next 10 years, leaving our current annual need at just $185,000.
We have a simple ask: prayerfully consider how you can contribute to the incredible work happening in Kenya. Whether you give a one-time gift or commit to a monthly amount, click the button below to donate today.
