Preparing Christians to Share God’s Story

A major part of our mission is maximizing the reach of the gospel near, far, and everywhere. To achieve that, earlier this year we launched a renewed focus on preparing Christians to share God’s Story.

One of five core ministry programs, our EVANGELISM TRAINING PROGRAM is designed to train local church communities in gospel outreach. We are investing in Christians, preparing them for gospel conversations that are meaningful and effective.

Our first training sessions of 2018 were at Praise Cathedral (Greer, South Carolina), Faith Church (Kent, Washington), and The Church at Greer Station (Greer, South Carolina). Because of your support, you have helped train more than 200 participants! Using our latest resource, The Story Training, Jerry McCorkle covered the gospel’s basic plot line and ways to start gospel conversations. The application exercises helped solidify the concepts so the participants could grow in their sharing confidence.
